Gabriel Taveira

I build apps and help teams build theirs. I'm a fractional CTO and engineering leader who has shipped products since 2017, from web and mobile to AI agents and the platforms behind them. On Coinbase's app infrastructure team I helped with releases and big migrations (Expo Prebuild, React Native's new architecture, React Compiler). I built D-ID's app from zero as Lead Engineer (4.6 stars from 3.4K ratings, Golden Kitty on Product Hunt), refactored Zé Delivery, Brazil's biggest beer app, and at my largest had 56 people reporting up to me. My open source libraries, like magic-modal and safe-jsx, have 342k+ npm downloads. Now I'm building my own apps: Curvinha (https://curvinha.app) and Pegada (https://pegada.app), a dating app for dogs on iOS and Android, open source, #2 of the day on Product Hunt.
